A warm and saturated palette, with a terracotta and baby-blue kitchen contrasted with ochre and white striped arrangement floor tiling, blue/green shower-room, brighter pink stairway; to create a striking balance between joinery and architecture. Neutral elements such as the white quartz worktops, and areas of white walls, with black crittal, provides crisp definition to balance the other moments of colour within the home.

Tonal variation of the cabinets and wall colours with the sugar-pink snug, and bright blue record playing niche, enable a colour blocking series of vignettes, with shifts in hues.

The playful use of colour is a tool to shape perception of the space, giving distinctive zoning to uses, and evoke happiness through design.
